Admission to M.Sc. I Semester Physics, Chemistry and Zoology will be on the basis of OCET conducted by Panjab University, Chandigarh. No OCET is needed for admission to M.Sc. Maths/M.Sc. I.T./ M.A. History, Panjabi , English and PGDCA.

Admission to  B.C.A., B.Sc. (Bio-Tech), B.Com Ist Semester will be on merit basis. Regular admission to B.A./B.Sc. I, II, III & B.Com., B.Sc. Bio-Tech., B.C.A. 3rd/5th Semester and Post-Graduate classes will start from 10.07.2017.

Semester I (NEW CLASSES)
Candidate whose result of the qualifying examination has been declared as "Result Late" will not be allowed admission to the next class. However, such students may be admitted without late fee within 10 days after their result of the qualifying examination is declared. In case of students of PSEB is 15 working days.
1. Students seeking admission to any class are required to produce in original the certificate of having passed the previous examinations and to attach a copy of each of the same with the admission form along with a character certificate from the Head of the Institution last attended.
Detailed marks card in original in case of compartment must be attached for admission to B.A./ B.Sc./ B.Com./B.C.A. I
2. Those who are already registered must produce their Panjab University/P.S.E.B. Registration Card at the time of admission.
3. A student belonging to scheduled caste or backward class will be required to attach with his/her admission form a certificate to this effect from competent authority along with income certificate.
4. Foreign students must produce the certificate of eligibility from the Panjab University along with their admission. No application for admission will be considered without it.
5. Students migrating from any other University/Board shall have to supply the following documents at the time of admission.
(i) Original detailed marks certificate.
(ii) Proof of having passed the previous examination.
(iii) Inter-University Migration Certificate.
6. Local Migration of students shall be allowed only for valid reasons.
A. For Post-graduate Courses BCA & B.Sc. (Bio-Tech)
Application for admission to M.Sc. Mathematics Part I, M.Sc. Information Technology Ist Semester, M.A. English Part I, PGDCA, B.Sc. I (Bio-Tech) and BCA I will be invited from the candidates in the month of June, 2011. The exact date and schedule for the same and date of counseling will be notified in the leading Newspaper.
Admission to M.Sc. I Zoology, Chemistry, and Physics is based on the OCET test to be conducted by Panjab University, Chandigarh. The Candidates declared successful on the basis of the OCET test will apply for admission to the college on the prescribed form. Admission will be done according to the merit list prepared by the laid down procedure and guidelines.
The reservation policy and additional seats for the above said courses in respect of the wards of Kashmiri Displaced, single girl child and Cancer & Aids Patient will be provided as per the Panjab University norms.

B. For Undergraduate Courses.
1. Students seeking admission to the college shall obtain copies of Prospectus from the Accounts Office on cash payment.
2. Admission form duly filled in should be accompanied by copies of results of all examination previously passed along with original certificates and Character Certificate from the institution last attended.
3. Admission is made strictly on Merit. Preference will be given to First Divisioners for science, commerce and B.C.A. Class.
4. Concessions are available to merit students, outstanding players, speakers, singers, artists and actors having shown achievement in their respective field. Certificate to this effect from the appropriate authority should be produced while seeking admission.
5. Failed and Compartment cases will be admitted only on availability of seats.
6. Admission cannot be claimed as a matter of right. Decision of the admission committee will be final and binding. Admission can be cancelled at any time on Disciplinary grounds.
