B.A./B.Sc./B.Com./B.C.A./B.Sc.(Bio-Tech) three year degree course Panjab University has approved introduction of certificate/diploma/advanced diploma courses in the subject of Sanskrit as add-on couse for B.Sc/B.Com. students. The student may offer certificate course in 1st year or 2nd year or 3rd year. however , a student can offer diploma only after qualifying certificate course, similarly a student can offer advanced diploma only after qualifying diploma course.

 
The College reserves the right to refuse/cancel admission to any student without assigning any reason.

B.A/B.Sc./B.Com./B.C.A/B.Sc.(Bio-Tech.) Three year degree course

Eligibility for admission to B.A./B.Sc,-I
1. A student who has passed one of the following examination shall be eligible to join the first year class of the B.A or B.Sc. degree course:
(i) +2 examination under 10+2+3 system of education of a recognised University/Board, Council:
(ii) Any other examination recognised by the university as equivalent to above ,provided that(a) A student joining the B.Sc. course must have obtained at least 40% marks in the aggregate of the qualifying examination (b) must have passed at least 2 science subjects in the qualifying examination out of the three elective subjects offered by him /her.
(c) Candidates who have passed10+2 Examination (without english) from any recognised Board/Council/University are eligible to join B.A./B.Sc. 1 Class if they fulfill the requirement such as minimum percentage etc.
Introduction to Computer Science
The college has introduced computer science in B.A./B.Sc. as an additional optional subject from the session 2002-2003 for the students who get admission to the first year class nominal fee of Rs. 200/- per month will be charged from students.
2.Compartment Cases
(i) Candidates placed in compartment in one subject only in the +2 Examination held by a recognised Board/University will be allowed to seek admission to B.A.
1.Class provisionally, provided he/she has secured 33%marks in aggregate and 40% for admission to B.Sc. 1 in the aggregate of all subjects and 20% marks in the subjects of compartment (included marks obtained by him/her in the subject of comptt. theory and practical taken together). students from school of C.B.S.E New Delhi/national open school Delhi will be admitted only if their result is shown as pass in their certificate.
Eligibility for admission to B.C.A.-I.
Admission will be made on the basis of merit in +2.
1.admission to the first year class of B.C.A. degree course shall be open to a person who has passed 10+2 examination in any discipline ,even without Maths/ statistics, with 50%marks.however, the candidates must have passed mathematics up to matric level.

 

Eligibility for admission to B.Com.-I
Admission to the first year class of the B.Com., Degree course shall be open to a person who has passed one of the following examination conducted by a recognised Board/Council/University.
(A) +2 examination under 10+2+3 system of education with the group and subjects as detailed below:
(i) +2 commerce with a least 40% marks in the aggregate:(35% for Scheduled Caste students)
(ii)+2any group (other that commerce) with one or more of the following subjects:
Commerce,Accountancy,Economics,Maths,Business Organisation and Management,Book-keeping&Accountancy.
 
Eligibility shall be determined as under :
(a) Passed with 3 of above subjects 45% marks in the aggregate
(b) Passed with 2 of the above subjects 50% marks in the aggregate
(c) Passed with 1 of the above subjects 55% marks in the aggregate
(d)+2 any group (other than commerce group) including Humanites group with none of the subjects as in (ii) above under 10+2+3 system of education having secured at least 60% marks in the aggregate.
(B) Compartment Cases
Candidate placed in Comptt. in one subject only at the +2 examination of any Board/University may be admitted provisionally to B.Com.-I class provided he/ she has secured the % age of marks as given in rule(A) above in the the aggregate of all subjects including the marks casual admission in B.Com-I. Classes will not be allowed.

Eligibility for admission to B.Sc.(Bio-Tech)-I.

A candidate who has passed +2(Non.Med./Med class) with 50% mark shall be eligible to join B.Sc (Bio Tech.)-I class . Admission will be made on merit basis.
